Scottie Scheffler began the final round of the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow with a three-shot cushion. While his lead did slip away at one point on Sunday, the best player in the world ultimately earned his third major championship title to the tune of a five-shot victory.
Given the lack of drama, specifically over the last hour or so of Sunday’s action at Quail Hollow, it should come as no surprise that the TV ratings took a dip compared to last year’s championship at Valhalla.

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou confirmed that Lucas Bergvall will be absent from the Europa League final at a press conference on the eve of the clash withManchester United.
The midfielder has been missing since the end of April due to a significant ankle ligament injury and missed the semi-final victory over Bodo/Glimt.
He was initially ruled out for the rest of the season but travelled with the Tottenham squad to Bilbao and was seen in training with the team.
Despite hopes of a last minute return, Bergvall lacks match fitness and won’t be involved in the game confirmed Postecoglou.

The Washington Mystics are 2-0 to begin the WNBA season, and rookies Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen have looked legit.
Most projected that the Washington Mystics would be among the WNBA’s worst — if not the worst — this season. The Mystics remained quiet through free agency and traded away one of their top players in Ariel Atkins. Then, the point guard they drafted, Georgia Amoore, tore her ACL at training camp.
But, through two games, the Mystics have been perhaps one of the league’s most positive surprises.
In the wake of the disappointing end to their postseason run, which saw Golden State take a tumble to the Timberwolves in just five games while Stephen Curry sat out with a pulled hamstring, the Warriors will have to find a way to retool their roster this offseason for next season, with Curry at 37 and fellow leading man Jimmy Butler turning 36 in September.
