It is often said that the cream rises to the top. The PGA Championship was an example of that.
Earlier in the event the leaderboard felt like a bit of a question mark with some curious names hanging out following Thursday’s activity. As the weekend wore on though the likes of Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm made their way up with Scottie outlasting them all to secure his third career major championship win.

Nick Sirianni has a new contract extension so he is going to be the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles for a while, or rather, he’s definitely going to get paid by the team for a while.
So go the rewards for winning Super Bowl LIX in February.
The club announced Monday afternoon it has signed Sirianni, about to begin his fifth year as the coach, with a mutli-year contract extension.
“As an organization, we have always strived to create a championship culture of sustained success,” Eagles chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie said in a statement.
LeBron James gave a quick shoutout to Caitlin Clark on social media after she posted a triple-double in the Indiana Fever’s season opener over the weekend. James’ post was completely harmless – just one great recognizing another great – but Clark’s triple-double came against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky, which sparked quite the reaction from those in the race-obsessed crowd.
The Fever embarrassed the Sky 93-58 in large part due to Clark’s 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists, but the scoreline or stat line wasn’t what anyone wanted to talk about.
A number of devastating tornadoes barreled through the Kentucky region late last week, causing massive damage and the unfortunate loss of life as people were left trying rebuild. Some of those who stepped up for the local communities were part of the Wildcats’ basketball team, along with head coach Mark Pope.
Unfortunately, this region of the country is no stranger to the destruction of mother nature, as this was the latest example of how terrifying it is to live in this area.

Everyone who has questioned Nick Sirianni’s legitimacy as the Philadelphia Eagles head coach at some point always hoped they’d be able to write this story. Sometimes, the life of a Birds fan or a Philly media member trades passion for downright lunacy. Still, even though everyone questioned whether the ‘CEO head coach’ was the man for the job at some point, everyone hoped the road would lead here.
Nick Sirianni is a Super Bowl-winning head coach. Nothing will ever take that away from him.

Former Florida baseball standout Jac Caglianone is now one level away from the major leagues with his promotion from the Double-A Northwest Arkansas Naturals to the Triple-A Omaha Storm Chasers by the parent franchise, the Kansas City Royals.
The announcement was made on social media Sunday evening.
Originally drafted by the Royals in 2024, Cags spent his first year of pro ball at High-A with the Quad Cities River Bandits, where he put up solid numbers despite being 1.3 years younger than the average player at that level.
