So, Pittsburgh Steelers … what now?
That’s the question I posed to a source within the organization on Friday morning following the revelations by Aaron Rodgers that he’s simply not ready to commit to any team at this time and is seriously considering retirement as one of his options.
And this source, a thoughtful veteran of many NFL years, was freaking out and completely taken aback by the Rodgers interview on the Pat McAfee Show because everyone in Pittsburgh had Rodgers penciled in as the starter for 2025.
No he wasn’t.

As the NFL draft approaches, there have been as many as five quarterbacks who have been thrown in as potential first-round picks. Originally, Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders were potential top-five picks and the only quarterbacks expected in the first round.
Then, Jaxson Dart began to gain steam and has even been discussed as the second quarterback off the board. Jalen Milroe has become the talk of draft circles for a week or so.
Which prospect at 14th overall in the 2025 NFL draft would give the Indianapolis Colts the best value?
This is the question that ESPN draft analyst Jordan Reid answered for each NFL team.
Of course, outside of a consensus top prospect falling to the Colts at pick No. 14, Reid believes that Michigan tight end Colston Loveland gives Indianapolis the best value.
For those wondering about Penn State tight end Tyler Warren, who would certainly also fit this mold, Reid already named his the Bears‘ best value pick at 10th overall.
