Super Bowl LIX is officially in the books.
With their 40-22 route of the Kansas City Chiefs, the Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl Champions. The Eagles dominated both lines of scrimmage and pressured Patrick Mahomes throughout the night, and Jalen Hurts threw for a pair of touchdowns and added another one on the ground as Philadelphia built a big halftime lead and pulled away in the second half.

Jalen Hurts is a Super Bowl MVP!
Jalen Hurts has been criticized through much of the NFL season as being the weakness of the Eagles, but he turned that all around when it mattered the most. Hurts was the biggest difference-maker in Philadelphia’s stunning 40-22 win in Super Bowl LIX.
Hurts finished with 17-for-22, 221 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT — with another 11 carries for 72 yards and a TD.

The Eagles are your Super Bowl LIX champions, and one of the best parts of the celebration after Philadelphia’s win was watching Nick Sirianni celebrate with his family. Philly’s coach was asked about the emotion of the game and he was met with his son cheerfully saying, “YOU’RE WET!” before bursting into an E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES!

NEW ORLEANS – The clearest evidence Super Bowl LIX was strange? Both Donald Trump and Taylor Swift were rooting for the same side. 
That’s not all. 
The first Super Bowl a sitting president of the United States attended had security so tight that armed Secret Service agents were checking in the media at press entrances rather than the usual unarmed civilian security that usually performs the tasks.

An NFL score has never happened before is on the table in the Super Bowl.
There have been 1091 unique scores in NFL history, with the most recent unique score happening in this year’s playoffs. These unique scores are also called a “Scorigami” and they are tracked by folks with spreadsheets around NFL Media with seven coming in 2024.
Usually Scorigamis happen when weird stuff takes place in an NFL game like teams going for two or missed extra points.
