WrestleMania 41 has come and gone.
We’re a little over eight hours away from the start of the 2024 NFL draft, and the Ravens are a team to watch despite being relatively quiet on the trade front over the past few years. Since taking over for Ozzie Newsome in 2018, GM Eric DeCosta has made one significant draft-related trade that resulted in Zay Flowers joining Lamar Jackson in Baltimore.
With the Ravens slated to pick at No. 27 overall and likely to stand pat, we’re looking at Eric DeCosta’s draft-related trades.

Pro Football Hall of Famer Steve “Mongo” McMichael died on Wednesday following a battle with ALS. He was 67.
A defensive tackle from the University of Texas, McMichael was selected in the third round of the 1980 draft by the New England Patriots but was released after just one season. The Chicago Bears picked him up, and the rest is history.
McMichael controlled the interior of the line for the Bears’ famed “46 defense” that is considered to be one of the NFL’s best-ever defensive units.

This comes directly from my exchange with a current NFL general manager who spent time tormenting me with veiled answers to text questions on Wednesday when I was fishing for information about the 2025 NFL draft….
Me: What r u hearing?
GM: You tell me.
Me: I asked u first.
GM: I can give you a handful of things that you’ll write and look like an idiot afterward because four of them won’t happen based on people not pulling the trigger. Fifth is so dumb, it’s embarrassing I even have to mention it.

We’ve finally made it.
After months of film grinding, scoop sleuthing and analysis of prospects and team fits to exhaustion, the NFL Draft has finally come. Thursday night brings the coronation of a new class of NFL players, and the order in which they go off the board is quite literally still up for grabs. At this point in the draft cycle, I think we know what the first four picks will be. From there, all hell breaks loose.

The Chiefs once again made it to the Super Bowl behind head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes. However, this was probably the most forgettable championship in recent memory if you’re a Chiefs fan.
Kansas City was molly-whopped for most of regulation as the Eagles physically dominated the Chiefs until the very end.
