Matthew Sluka and UNLV are some of the early-season darlings of the 2024 college football season. The school is 3-0 after a strong start, and in the driver’s seat for the Group of 5’s automatic berth in the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff. As for Sluka, who transferred to UNLV after a stellar career at Holy Cross, he has thrown for 318 yards and 6 touchdowns, while adding another 253 yards and a score on the ground.

The best part about NFL football is it keeps you on your toes. Whenever we think we know something, it proves us wrong. The National Football League keeps us humble. I think that’s important. Week 3 was a reminder of that humility.
What an awful week for the kicker position, by the way. In the first two weeks of the season, kickers averaged 9 and 9.8 fantasy points, respectively. In Week 3, kickers only averaged 6.5 points.

Welcome to Week 4 of the NFL season. As usual, this has been a weird start to the season, with passing numbers down and rushing numbers up. Week 3 did give us some strong quarterback fantasy games though, more than we have been seeing this year. Josh Allen and Sam Darnold both threw for four touchdowns each, while Brock Purdy and Joe Burrow threw for three each.

Right now there is a pretty big gap between the top two backs, Saquon Barkley and Alvin Kamara, who have averaged 28.1 and 27.
