The good thing about sports is that it gives you multiple chances to redeem yourself. That was true for Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark in their overtime comeback win Sunday against the Atlanta Dream.
In the first half, Clark was hitting shots, but also giving the ball to the Dream with uncharacteristic regularity. She committed nine turnovers in the game – more than the entire Atlanta team – and six of those came in the first half. That contributed to the Fever being down 48-44 at the half, to a team that entered 12-22 and one spot out of playoff contention.

Algerian Olympic boxer Imane Khelif faced scrutiny during the Paris Summer Olympics for competing against women despite being unable to confirm XX chromosomes. 
Past failed gender tests by Khelif spotlighted the fighter’s physical dominance over female boxers, which became evident once Khelif started fighting.
Khelif failed a gender test administered by the International Boxing Association that led to disqualification from the World Boxing Championships, but competed in the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics.

Marshawn Lynch does whatever Marshawn Lynch wants to do — even if that means distracting an NFL head coach in the middle of his first game.
The former NFL running back was on the sideline for the Seattle Seahawks‘ season opener against the Denver Broncos. Nearing the end of the first quarter, with the score tied at 3, Lynch must have sensed that Seahawks’ coach Mike Macdonald was looking a little tense. So Lynch walked up behind him and treated him to a relaxing shoulder massage while he, apparently, gave the coach some words of encouragement.
