Well, this is not how the San Francisco 49ers‘ season was supposed to go. Easily the favorite in the NFC West, and a favorite to win the NFC entering the season, the 49ers find themselves at 5-5 after a heartbreaking loss Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.
Trailing by four points in the final minutes, Geno Smith led the Seahawks on a game-winning drive and ran in the winning score with 12 seconds on the clock.
It’s a tough loss for the 49ers, who entered the game as six-point home favorites but couldn’t win the game outright.

Bowers is a rookie tight end, who had an historic day in that he caught 13 passes for 126 yards and one touchdown against the Miami Dolphins. And those 13 catches are the most by a rookie tight end since at least 1960, according to the Raiders.

Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Buffalo Bills needed one more big play from Josh Allen to knock off Patrick Mahomes and company.
And they got it.
With just over three minutes remaining, the Bills held a 23-21 lead over the Chiefs but faced a critical decision.
Josh Allen’s late 26-yard TD run on fourth down sealed Buffalo’s win and handed Kansas City its first loss after a 9-0 start.
