When Donald Trump ran for president in 2024, he vowed to end the lunacy of biological males competing in women’s sports. Since taking office, Trump has stuck to his promise.
On Friday, the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Justice, under Trump’s guidance, announced the “Title IX Special Investigations Team,” in large part formed to stamp out transgender athletes (males) competing in women’s sports.

The MLB season is off to a roaring start. The White Sox are tied for first place in the AL Central (whatttt), the Dodgers are undefeated (not a huge surprise but still cool), and Orioles outfielder Cedric Mullins is flashing his leather.
But let’s not let that distract us from the biggest news of all so far: those flippin’ torpedo bats. The New York Yankees obviously love them, and so do a lot of MLB players who want in on this trend.
But as for me, I hate them. Here’s why.

Two-time WNBA MVP and WNBA Champion Elena Delle Donne announced her retirement via Instagram.
After over a decade playing professional basketball, WNBA legend Elena Delle Donne has decided to hang up her shoes. This comes a year after she decided to sit out the 2024 season after being cored by the Washington Mystics.
She announced her retirement via her personal Instagram page.

Since South Carolina women’s basketball coach Dawn Staley and Texas coach Vic Schaefer began competing in the 2012-13 season, it’s been a lot of success for Staley and the Gamecocks. South Carolina has nine regular season titles, nine conference tournament trophies, seven Final Four appearances and three national championships.

NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. and NFL superstar Lamar Jackson are two of the most unlikely people you’d expect to be beefing, but here we are — and it all comes down to the number eight.
Jackson has filed opposition to Dale Jr’s attempt to trademark the number, which was filed in 2024 by “DEJ Holdings,” Dale’s company.
Essentially Jackson is saying that Dale Jr.

Amaree Williams was on track to be a high school senior in 2024 before reclassifying and signing with Florida State. But he still would have been a redshirt candidate, perhaps playing four games as an undersized defensive end.
A plan to have Williams line up at tight end played out well for his development. Williams played 148 snaps, grabbing five catches for 78 yards and two touchdowns. That on-field time has helped in his development and now the planned shift back to defensive end this spring.
