The questions about whether or not Florida could be a college basketball powerhouse without Billy Donovan are no more thanks to Todd Golden.
Of the 10-15 programs that had the greatest impact on men’s college basketball over the past couple of decades, perhaps none entered the post-COVID world with a more uncertain long-term future than Florida.
In between 2014 and the season that wrapped up Monday night in San Antonio, Florida participated in a total of just five NCAA Tournaments.

Holly Winterburn, an offseason acquisition, suffered an injury playing with the Turkish club Beskitas.
Holly Winterburn, who signed a training camp contract with the Atlanta Dream this WNBA offseason, will miss the entire season, the team announced Monday. Winterburn, a 5’11 British guard who played for the Oregon Ducks in college, had been thriving on the Turkish club Besiktas when she suffered a season-ending injury.
Winterburn averaged 15.5 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.

Now that Cadillac’s entry as the 11th Formula 1 team has officially been confirmed for the 2026 season, they can turn their attention to getting ready for the upcoming campaign.
Which includes building a car for the track, and hiring drivers to climb into that machine when the season begins.
Speaking with the Speed City podcast during the Japanese Grand Prix, Cadillac Team Principal Graeme Lowdon discussed how that process is playing out.

Players in the NCAA like Duke’s Toby Fournier, Michigan’s Syla Swords and more are not able to participate in NIL endorsement deals for one specific reason.
With the NCAA transfer portal officially opened up for the season, many players have announced they are moving schools. Obviously for many of them, a big reason to play at a different school is because of Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) money. Not only do bigger market schools have more endorsement opportunities, but bigger schools also often have more collective NIL money to offer players as well.
The NFL offseason has mostly come and gone, and with it comes a new batch of power rankings for everyone to enjoy. The latest is from Touchdown Wire’s Jarrett Bailey, who broke down all 32 teams and their standings following free agency and trades throughout the league.
As for where the Vikings land in his power rankings, they find themselves still firmly in the top 10 with a strong placement at number nine. Coming off a 14-3 season, they could be expected to be higher but some things are holding that back from happening.
