Tennis players only have so many options to show their frustrations during matches. Typically, it involves smashing a racket on the court while screaming or, occasionally, players will hit a ball into the stands. Cameron Norrie, however, showed a new form of letting out his emotions, and it was rather dangerous.
Taking on Argentina’s Facundo Diaz Acosta in the opening round of the ASB Classic in New Zealand, Norrie hit a forehand return into the net at a pivotal moment in the match he was already losing.
The man accused of hitting and killing late NHL star Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew on a New Jersey road last summer was in court on Tuesday and entered a not-guilty plea.
According to NJ.com, 44-year-old Sean M. Higgins was in court for a post-indictment arraignment hearing.
Higgins is alleged to have been intoxicated when he hit the Gaudreau brothers with his vehicle while they were riding bikes in Salem County, New Jersey on August 29.
Higgins’ not-guilty plea reportedly comes after prosecutors offered him a 35-year prison sentence in exchange for a guilty plea.

Both of these teams are different from their Week 1 matchup in Brazil in so many ways. Their rematch should be a very fun chess match.
Matchup to watch: Green Bay’s downfield passing vs. Philadelphia’s downfield defense
Both these teams come into this game injured, but I’m a little bit more worried about the Packers’ injuries than Philly’s. Yes, QB Jordan Love hurt his elbow, but all reports seem to lead to him playing. However, WR Christian Watson is done for the year with a torn ACL.

Matchup to watch: Buffalo’s offense vs. Denver’s man coverage
In my opinion, this is the most interesting game of the weekend. Buffalo and Denver share a lot of strengths, but the collision course between arguably the best defense in the NFL and one of the most complementary offenses in the NFL might be the best matchup of the weekend. The Broncos play a LOT of man coverage: in fact, per SIS they’re third in the NFL in total snaps of man coverage played.

Former college football coach Tommy Tuberville knows a thing or two about fair competition. In that vein, his stance on biological males competing in women’s sports is clear: that should never happen.
Tuberville sponsors a bill named The Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, which was first introduced in 2023. But, because Democrats previously controlled the Senate, the bill never made it to the floor for a vote.
However, that looks like it will change thanks to the red wave that swept through America during the 2024 election.
