Dana Altman and the Oregon Ducks added another valuable piece to the roster on Wednesday out of the transfer portal.
Former Ohio State power forward and McDonald’s All-American Sean Stewart announced he will be transferring to Oregon for the 2025-26 season. The 6-foot-9 Stewart solidifies a nice roster heading into next season for Dana Altman and crew.
Stewart will be a junior next season after averaging 5.7 points and 5.8 rebounds a game for the Buckeyes last year. He started out at Duke.

DETROIT (AP) — Claressa Shields is giving Lani Daniels a shot at winning her belts.
Shields, the first undisputed heavyweight champion in women’s boxing, announced on social media Wednesday that she is facing Daniels on July 26 at Little Caesars Arena.
The 30-year-old Shields improved to 16-0 by unanimously outpointing Danielle Perkins three months ago in her hometown of Flint, Michigan.
The 36-year-old Daniels of New Zealand has the IBF light heavyweight title. She has won seven straight matches and is 11-2-2 with one knockout.

The Buffalo Bills have been going through a situation with running back James Cook this offseason. He has been wanting a new deal, but the Bills have not seemed to be on the same page with him.
Cook is locked in and under contract for the 2025 season. Buffalo seems prepared to have him heading into the final year of his deal without any kind of resolution in place.
There have been some questions about whether or not Cook cold hold out. Brandon Beane, the Bills’ general manager, spoke out with an update about Cook on Wednesday.

The Los Angeles Rams plan to spend their upcoming June minicamp looking for Manti Teo’s girlfriend in Hawaii.
And if they can’t find her, they’ll practice a little football.
Sean McVay’s squad is taking their work to Maui. Their June minicamp, or “Mauicamp,” as they’re calling it, will be held in Hawaii as part of a partnership with the Hawai’i Tourism Authority (HTA).
