Juwan Johnson had a decision to make this offseason. He could re-sign with New Orleans or find a new home for the first since being picked up as an undrafted free agent in 2020. As the free agency approached, he realized he wanted to stay in New Orleans, but it’s not that simple.
Johnson spoke to media and told them, “something in my heart was telling me ‘I got to stay in New Orleans,’ but if I stay in New Orleans it’s got to make sense.”
It was a random late night call to Kellen Moore that sold Johnson on returning.

The mock drafts are in peak season right now and the New York Giants, who hold the third overall selection in the 2025 NFL draft, will have a slew of top prospects to choose from.
They are dependent on the two teams selecting in front of them. Their ideal pick would be Miami quarterback Cam Ward, but if he is not selected by Tennessee at No. 1, it’s hard to see him slipping past Cleveland at No. 2.
In the latest mock draft from Josh Liskiewitz of Pro Football Focus, Ward and Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders go 1-2, leaving the Giants with a myriad of choices.

After winning game one on Thursday night against Mississippi State, LSU baseball clinched the series with a win on Friday night.
The first opponent LSU would face would not even be the Bulldogs, it was the weather. The game was delayed due to rain. The first pitch didn’t come until after 9 PM. That did not rain on the Tigers parade, as they came away with a 2-1 win.
Anthony Eyanson got the start on the mound and he only allowed one run on five hits, 12 strikeouts, and three walks over five full innings of work.

ATLANTA — Six-seed Ole Miss was a -3.5 underdog heading into Friday’s Sweet 16 matchup against the Michigan State Spartans, but they sure didn’t play like it for most of the game. That made the Rebels’ 70-73 loss to Michigan State even more painful.
The first half was mostly the Rebels’ show. They held a lead over MSU for 18:31, they never trailed, and they scored nine points off turnovers, 18 in the paint, but were just four of 14 from behind the three-point line.
