The Seattle Seahawks own the No. 18 overall selection in the 2025 NFL draft. General manager John Schneider will be tasked with drafting an instant contributor at that spot. With the pre-draft circuit reaching its conclusion, we’ve identified three prospects who should be Seattle’s primary target in the first round.
Grey Zabel, IOL, North Dakota State
The Seahawks have been routinely tied to North Dakota State offensive lineman Grey Zabel throughout the pre-draft process. It makes sense, given Seattle’s dire need for interior offensive lineman.
The UConn women’s basketball team is back in action on Sunday (April 6) when the Huskies (36-3) meet South Carolina (35-3) in the NCAA Tournament Championship Game at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. The game will be broadcast on ESPN and Westwood One radio at 3 p.m.
The Huskies are coming off an 85-51 win over UCLA in the national semifinals. Sarah Strong finished with 22 points and Azzi Fudd scored all of her 19 points in the first half for the second-seeded Huskies.
The Las Vegas Raiders trading for Geno Smith may not have ruled out the possibility of them drafting a quarterback in the first round, but giving Smith an extension likely does. The extension is a long-term financial commitment and keeps Smith under contract through the 2027.
Pairing this move with drafting a rookie quarterback doesn’t make sense. The Atlanta Falcons did sign Kirk Cousins to a four-year contract then draft Michael Penix Jr. a year ago, so never say never. We’ll just say doubtful. This takes one team ahead of the New Orleans Saints out of the Shedeur Sanders sweepstakes.
Conceicao’s son gives insight on time at Milan: “People forget very quickly”
Sergio Conceicao’s son has spoken out about how his father’s time at AC Milan has gone, insisting that he will remain in the club’s history books for ever.
It has been quite a bizarre few months for Conceicao, who was thrust into a difficult situation at the end of December as he replaced Paulo Fonseca, then jetting off immediately to Saudi Arabia for the Supercoppa Italiana.
News of the Green Bay Packers hosting college prospects on pre-draft visits, or “top 30” visits, as they are known, ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft, is steadily filtering in.
The reason behind each visit can vary depending on the player. In the days of Ted Thompson, the Packers generally used them to recruit players who they were interested in as potential undrafted free agents, but since Brian Gutekunst took over as GM, the team has hosted plenty of high-profile prospects as well.

Max Verstappen may start P1, but Lando Norris is ‘happy’ to be right behind him at the Japanese Grand Prix
When the dust settled after qualifying at the Japanese Grand Prix, Lando Norris found himself in P2, just behind Max Verstappen.
Despite missing out on pole position, the McLaren driver noted he was rather “happy” with both his performance in qualifying, and the MCL39 itself.
“Yeah, I’m happy. Congrats to Max, he did a good job.

This is performance art from the Bulls and Blazers
The cross-conference rivalry between the Chicago Bulls and Portland Trail Blazers was once so good that a video game was made out of it. These days, the franchises are closer to mirror images of each other in terms of being stuck in mediocrity. Chicago and Portland each entered their Friday night matchup with 34 wins, which is good enough for the Bulls to make the play-in tournament in the East, but not for the Blazers in the West.
