ATLANTA, GA – A line of Ohio State and Notre Dame fans formed at the back of Saturday’s College Football Playoff media day, hoping to get a glimpse of their favorite players, if only for a few seconds. Amidst the crowded room of reporters and players sitting around to answer questions, while also playing with a few dogs that were roaming around the building. Look, I don’t want to pile on poor William Mouw today. Seriously. I love golf, and I am also not very good at it, which gives me exactly zero legs to stand on here. 
If I shoot anywhere in the 80s, it’s an excellent day. I think my best ever is 84, and I’m quite sure there were a dozen “gimmies” in there that were at least 8-footers. Trust me, I ain’t waxing poetic here. 
That being said, when a PGA Tour rookie has a hole like the one you’re about to watch, I simply have to blog about it. I don’t like it. I don’t feel great about it.

The Detroit Lions are giving the Dallas Cowboys some serious competition for the designation of “America’s Team.”
Dallas remains one of the most iconic sports brands, not just in the NFL, but the entire world. However, they’ve been wallowing in mediocrity for the past several years and have only won four playoff games in the past 20 years. To be fair, they are still popular and put up huge TV ratings, but its surprising given that they aren’t a very successful team.
On the flip side, the Detroit Lions are now one of the more elite teams in the NFL.
