The 2024-25 NFL regular season comes to a close on Sunday, and the final day wraps up with the biggest game of the year. Most of the playoff field is set, but the top of the NFC bracket has one more game to determine who gets home field advantage. The Detroit Lions will host the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football, with kickoff scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET.
The Lions are coming off a 40-34 win over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 17.

The Minnesota Vikings boast the second-best record in the NFL, but they’re still fighting for playoff seeding going into the final weekend of the regular season. They’re set to face the rival Detroit Lions, also at 14-2 on the year, in the final game of Week 18 to determine the top seed and winner of the NFC North.
That game is set for Sunday evening at 8:20 p.m.
