Karl Vilips has been on quite a ride as of late. The 23-year-old rookie recently became the first brand ambassador for Tiger Woods’ Sun Day Red apparel line. Less than a month after inking that historic deal, Vilips earned his maiden victory on the PGA Tour in Puerto Rico this past Sunday in impressive fashion.
Vilips held the lead heading into Sunday’s final round of the Puerto Rico Open, but with the tournament being a birdie fest, the rookie was going to have to post a low number yet again to earn the win.

Sam Darnold agreeing to terms with the Seattle Seahawks on a three-year contract really isn’t that complicated.
It’s simple math weighed against youth and talent.
Darnold has agreed in principle on a three-year deal that will ultimately be worth approximately $100.5 million over three years. The deal includes $55 million in guaranteed money.
And that is almost precisely the deal the Seahawks presented to Geno Smith when they began negotiations on a contract extension nearly two weeks ago.
Stephen Curry has decided to take his talents back to college in order to help Davidson succeed on the court with both the men’s and women’s basketball programs. The Golden State Warriors star has accepted a position as the assistant General Manager at the school.
No, the Warriors superstar is not retiring from the NBA, but he is taking a more keen interest in the college basketball program at Davison, hoping to get them back into the conversation as a mid-major threat in the sport.

The NFL’s legal tampering period has arrived. Beginning at noon Eastern on Monday, unrestricted free agents are free to begin contract negotiations with potential new teams. However, as we have seen over the past several seasons, those negotiations wrap up rather quickly, as shortly after noon today we will learn about players agreeing to terms with new organizations.
