The 59-year-old Southeastern Conference commissioner went right for the jugular of former Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren during Georgia’s CFP National Championship celebration in Athens. It was a vicious parting shot.
Warren became the sixth commissioner in Big Ten history on June 4, 2019. The conferenced persevered through the COVID-19 pandemic and expanded to 16 teams during his oversight.

The NFL penalized the rookie linebacker for his actions late in Green Bay’s matchup against Detroit in Week 18.
The NFL reportedly assessed fines to Packers rookie linebacker Quay Walker and Lions running back Jamaal Williams on Saturday for separate infractions during Detroit’s 20-16 win over Green Bay on Sunday Night Football in Week 18.
Walker, 22, received a fine of $13,261 for shoving a Lions athletic trainer as he tended to injured RB D’Andre Swift on the field in the fourth quarter, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

The NASCAR Cup Series is headed back to Los Angeles for the Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum on Feb. 5, and the race-break concert is returning for 2023. 
Wiz Khalifa confirmed Saturday that he would be performing during that Sunday event as NASCAR kicks off its 75th anniversary. He said in the press release, “The NASCAR cars will bring the noise, and I’ll bring the party.

An age-old tradition in the NFL (for better or worse) is the annual rookie dinner, in which the veterans go out and eat a lavish meal with a rookie and make the new guy pick up the tab.
The bills for these meals, which usually feature exorbitantly expensive appetizers, main courses, and of course plenty of beverages, are usually outlandish amounts of money that most would never think of spending at dinner.

Denver is reportedly going after some big names.
Former Saints coach Sean Payton, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh and Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn have emerged as the main coaching candidates the Broncos are considering, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. 
Each candidate is coming from a completely different background and circumstance—making it an interesting candidate pool to say the least. 
Payton retired from coaching after the 2021 season but is still under contract with the Saints.
