Cincinnati’s star quarterback continued to make his gripe with the league well known on social media.
Joe Burrow and the Bengals are headed back to the AFC championship game for the second year in a row after cruising past the Bills in the divisional round with a 27–10 victory Sunday afternoon in Buffalo. Though Cincinnati may be just one win away from playing in another Super Bowl, the third-year quarterback doesn’t seem to have lost the chip on his shoulder that has come to embody the attitude of the 2022 Bengals.

The situation that played out over the weekend at Bethune-Cookman was one in which both parties probably wish they could take back. When Ed Reed was brought onto the campus near Daytona Beach it was a move beneficial for everyone, especially a football program trying to make a splash.
But, after a few weeks of back and forth between the administration and Reed, we would soon find out that this relationship wouldn’t get very far.
Hall Of Famer Ed Reed took his brash flamboyant style to Bethune Cookman and the sides clashed.
Both players are set to hit the open market in March unless the Giants can strike new deals.
Now that the Giants are entering their offseason, they have significant decisions to make about two big names on their team. Both quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley are set to hit free agency in March.
On Monday, general manager Joe Schoen spoke for the first time about both players’ futures. In Jones’s case, Schoen said the team wants to get a deal done after the quarterback had a solid season in 2022.
“We’d like Daniel to be here,” Schoen said about Jones.
The playoffs and league rules are slowing down the process with five head coach openings and more than 10 offensive and defensive coordinator positions still available.
This is a good time to reset the coaching carousel and, as it stands, there are two general manager jobs filled, and none open, with five head coach openings, and none filled. Even all 10 of the offensive coordinator openings out there remain.
At the time, the picks seemed reasonable as Buffalo was the favorite to win the AFC championship.
As the NFL season nears the Super Bowl, it’s always a fun time to look back at preseason predictions to see whom the experts thought would be in this season’s big game.
NFL Network’s expert preseason picks resurfaced on Sunday shortly after the divisional games concluded. Unfortunately for these experts, all six of them chose the Super Bowl champions incorrectly.
Bay Area sports fans who wanted to watch the San Francisco 49ers take on the Dallas Cowboys and watch the Golden State Warriors take on the Brooklyn Nets had a choice to make.
They can thank the NBA for that.
The Warriors-Nets game was scheduled to tip off at 5:30 pm PST. The problem is that it conflicted with the Niners-Cowboys divisional round playoff game. So, sensibly, Golden State wanted to push back the start of the game.
The Mercury News‘ Shayna Rubin reported over the weekend that the team had put in the request, but the league gave a firm “nope.
Georgia offensive lineman Warren McClendon has officially accepted an invitation to the Senior Bowl. While working out for NFL teams, McClendon will honor his fallen teammate Devin Willock in the process.
Following the accepted invitation Monday for the event held on the campus of South Alabama, Jim Nagy announced that McClendon would wear No. 77, in honor of his teammate Devin Willock. During a car crash Jan. 15, Willock passed away, along with recruiting staffer Chandler LeCroy.
The Fox lead NFL analyst has had an outstanding postseason.
1. “Fine. Bench me. But I’m gonna make it hard as s— for you to bench me.”
That was Fox NFL analyst Greg Olsen on the SI Media Podcast just over a month ago when talking about the prospect of Tom Brady replacing him in the booth whenever the legendary quarterback retires.
After two weeks of the NFL playoffs, Olsen is clearly going to make it “hard as s—” for Fox to bench him.
Ryan Fitzpatrick decided to wear a shirt at this year’s AFC Divisional Round game in Buffalo. That was new. His support for the Bills, on the other hand, was not.
On the evening prior to the Divisional Round, Fitzpatrick voiced the team’s hype video.

Fitzpatrick spent 17 years in the NFL with nine teams. His longest stop came with Buffalo from 2009 through 2012 and he’s been a huge fan ever since.
The Toffees are back in the relegation battle, sitting tied for last on points in the Premier League table after 20 games.
Premier League legend Frank Lampard’s young managerial career has taken yet another ugly turn.
According to Sky Sports, the longtime Chelsea midfielder (and former manager of the Blues) was sacked by Everton on Monday, ending his tenure after just 38 Premier League games in charge with the club currently in 19th place.
Lampard’s year with the Toffees was marked by inconsistency and underperformance.
