Clemson basketball player Brevin Galloway will not be on the court for a little while. The sixth-year senior guard had a medical issue earlier this week and needs some time to heal up with rest, but wasted no time capitalizing off of his unique condition through Name, Image and Likeness.
Galloway, who played his first four years at College of Charleston and last season at Boston College, transferred south during the offseason. He is averaging 10.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.6 points per game while averaging 30 minutes as the team’s primary ball-handler.

After years of bandying his name about in trade talks, the Pacers will hold on to center Myles Turner for the time being.
The center agreed to a two-year, $60 million contract extension with the Pacers, according to a Saturday afternoon report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The deal reportedly includes a $17 million renegotiation on his salary this season, the largest in the history of the NBA, and will pay Turner $20.

Embiid was fined $25,000 for doing the gesture in a game.
On Wednesday, Sixers center Joel Embiid brought out the DX crotch chop celebration in a win over the Nets, which led to a fine from the NBA for $25,000. The league was unhappy that Embiid made “an obscene gesture on the playing court.”
While Embiid’s wallet is now lighter, he did appear to gain an admirer through the endeavor. On Saturday, Triple H tweeted his admiration that Embiid used the WWE celebration in a basketball game, so much so that he pretty much offered to help pay for it.

Western Kentucky basketball traveled to Boca Raton, FL over the weekend for its road matchup against No. 21 Florida Atlantic. While there, players allegedly slid into the DMs of multiple girls on the night before the game.
In apparent screenshots posted online by the women with whom the Hilltoppers were conversing, pieces of the puzzle start to add up. The female Owls appear to have set up their school’s opponents with plans to expose them.
All of the conversations occurred on a dating app on Friday night, according to the date on the images.
