Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Jose Siri felt incredibly pretentious Monday — playing against the New York Yankees — while his team was down big. After hitting his 14th homer of the season, Siri cruised around the bases slowly and mocked the Brooklyn fans with some ‘chirping’ hand gestures.
Siri’s celebration after a home run in the fifth inning, down 4-0, ticked off members in the New York dugout, including captain Aaron Judge, who generally does a good job of not putting his emotions out there.
