As the Giants rolled up to their NFC Divisional game against the Eagles, their starting quarterback and starting running back were on very different vibes. It made for a hilarious contrast.
New York arrived at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia just after 5:00 p.m. ET with kickoff scheduled for 8:15. Rowdy Eagles fans filled the parking lot after finding a loophole in tailgating rules, and the Giants showed up after their water went out at the hotel early on Saturday morning.
An English Premier League match was delayed on Saturday as an unidentified drone flew over the field.
The drone delay occurred during Aston Villa’s win at St. Mary’s Stadium in Southampton.
According to the New York Post, it flew over the stadium in the 40th minute. The referee spoke to the captions on both teams, and all parties involved decided to pause play momentarily to assess the situation.
The match was tied 0-0 at the time, and the drone led to both teams returning to their locker rooms.
It was cleared after about 10 minutes, and players returned to the pitch to resume playing.

Kelce had two touchdowns in first half against the Jaguars on Saturday
Travis Kelce has been so dominant in the playoffs that not even an injury to Patrick Mahomes could stop him on Saturday, as the eight-time Pro Bowl tight end already has two touchdowns in the first half. Certainly the Jacksonville Jaguars stand little chance of slowing down the NFL’s most dangerous receiving threat in the modern era.
With two more scores in Saturday’s Divisional Round matchup, Kelce now has 14 postseason touchdowns since 2017.
