Pitchers prefer to start their appearances on the mound without much difficulty. Pittsburgh Pirates rookie Paul Skenes did not get that benefit Sunday afternoon.
The first-year flamethrower was making his eighth appearance of the season, this time against the Tampa Bay Rays. His first test was against first baseman Yand Diaz, and let’s just say the batter won this initial test.
On the first pitch of the game (a 99-mph four-seam fastball) Diaz swung and blasted the ball into the right field stands for a solo home run. One pitch, on run for Tampa Bay.

Jon Rahm pocketed A LOT of cash by moving to LIV Golf, but there seems to be one big problem with the tournaments, at least in his eyes. What is that problem? Drones flying overhead to capture video of the tournament.
After making birdie on three of his first five holes of Sunday’s final round, Rahm stepped up to the tee on the sixth hole. His birdie run put him in position to potentially win the event, trailing only his teammate, Tyrell Hatton. Hatton made a bogey on the fifth hole, which got Rahm to just two shots back of his close friend.

Rahm’s latest hot-mic moment came in Sunday’s round at the LIV Golf Nashville tournament as he complained about a drone camera.
Jon Rahm is one of the most passionate professional golfers. He is also one of many LIV Golf players who use profanities.
His latest f-bomb came during the Sunday round of the LIV Golf Nashville tournament.
He started his round 3-under through his first five holes, then Rahm stepped on the sixth tee at The Grove.
A loud noise allegedly distracted the Spaniard.
