The Sky forward grabbed 8 rebounds in Thursday’s Sky-Mercury game, setting a new franchise record for most offensive boards in a rookie season.
Angel Reese set another rebounding record in Thursday night’s Sky loss to the Mercury, but she once again made clear postgame that setting records is not a priority. Reese has now grabbed 120 offensive rebounds this season, surpassing Sylvia Fowles for the most offensive rebounds in a single-season in franchise history.

Last week New England Patriots rookie quarterback Drake Maye, the third-overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft, made his NFL debut. It came against the Carolina Panthers on a rainy night in Foxborough, and while he took the field to roars from the Patriots faithful, his short stint saw him leave the game to a cascade of boos.
Not regarding his play, but rather the fact that just one series was all they got to see.
