Payton, who was hired earlier this week to replace Nathaniel Hackett, is re-entering the coaching ranks just one year after retiring from his job with the Saints.

Josh Allen is very, very injured after a long NFL season. He is so injured, in fact, that the only way for him to get healthy is by playing one of the most famous golf courses in the world.
Allen, who had his season come to an end with a loss to the Bengals in the AFC Divisional Round, was picked to play in the 2023 Pro Bowl Games. However, his extremely severe, (undiagnosed) injury is keeping him from participating this weekend.

Tom Brady announced his retirement from pro football (again, but he says it’s for good this time) on Wednesday. However, New England Patriots Owner Robert Kraft would like to see Brady make his retirement official as a Patriot.
Kraft said that was his hope on Thursday morning during an appearance on CNN.
“I’d do it tomorrow,” Kraft said. “Not only do I want it, our fans are clamoring for it. To us, he always has been and always will be a Patriot.”
Brady of course spent 20 of his 23 NFL seasons with the Patriots and helped them win 6 Super Bowl Titles.

Nick Saban has reportedly zeroed in on Tommy Rees to be Alabama’s new OC.
The current Notre Dame offensive coordinator will be on campus in Tuscaloosa at some point Thursday, according to Chris Low.
A source within Alabama’s program informed OutKick that Rees and Saban spoke for a couple hours over Zoom Wednesday. Washington OC Ryan Grubb recently turned down the Crimson Tide.

Notre Dame offensive coordinator Tommy Rees has emerged as the top target for @AlabamaFTBL’s OC job. Rees has had discussions with Nick Saban and is scheduled to be on campus Thursday, sources tell ESPN.
