The England native was down 5-3 in the third set against Julia Rivera, and while tossing the ball up to serve, Jones stumbled forward before ultimately falling to the ground and clutching the top of her head. Shortly after medical staff on hand ran to her side, Rivera also walked over to check on her opponent.

The Dallas Cowboys are working out a deal to make Micah Parsons the highest-paid non-quarterback in the NFL. But if it’s up to Jerry Jones, Parsons’ agent will have nothing to do with it.
The Cowboys owner said he spent “five, six hours” agreeing on most of the parameters of Parsons’ contract, but those conversations excluded Parsons’ agent, David Mulugheta.
“I’m the one who has to write the check and Micah is the one who has to agree to it,” Jones said on Tuesday, via David Moore of the Dallas Morning News.
