Earlier this week, Josh Jacobs claimed the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers were warned not to wear green during their Week 1 game in Brazil. But the NFL says that’s just not true.
The two teams will face off on Sept. 6 in São Paulo, Brazil — the NFL’s first-ever regular season game in South America. During an appearance on the Green Light podcast with Chris Long, Jacobs said the teams were told they could not wear green because it may not be safe.
