The Arnold Palmer Invitational was Collin Morikawa’s tournament to win. Instead, Russell Henley made the shot of the tournament on the 16th hole to overtake the 54-hole leader and never looked back en route to a thrilling victory on Sunday evening. 
Morikawa entered the final round with a one-shot lead over Henley and the latter struggled early in the round, while the former remained steady. 
Henley failed to take advantage of the par-5s on the front nine and bogeyed both.

Russell Henley’s eagle on 16 was a big reason why he won at Bay Hill.
Russell Henley emerged victorious at Bay Hill, giving him a signature win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. He will surely feel good about his game heading into The Players.
Henley began Sunday’s final round at 9-under par, one shot back of then-leader Collin Morikawa. It was a breezy day and scoring opportunities were rare. This duo, who comprised the final pairing, headed into the 16th with the same score they started the round with.

Russell Henley won the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill, thanks to his hole out eagle on the par-5 16th hole.
At the time, Henley faced a one-shot deficit to Collin Morikawa, who stood atop the leaderboard at 10-under par. But Henley flipped the narrative in his direction, chipping in from roughly 55 feet away to ultimately earn the biggest title of his career.
Henley shot a 2-under 70 to win by one.

March Madness always creates memories for schools, athletes and fans. High Point University is going to create some of those later this month for the first time.
The Panthers took on the Winthrop Eagles in the Big South Conference championship game, and it wasn’t smooth sailing. After the first half, the Eagles held a 39-29 lead and stretched their lead to 15 at one point. But High Point didn’t become the top team in the conference and come into the game with a 28-5 record by accident. The team showed its mettle in the second half.
The Panthers outscored the Eagles 52-30 to win 81-69.

Michael Kim has played his best golf when it has mattered most.
Michael Kim has been on a tear as of late.
The first month of the year was not so glamorous as he had two missed cuts in three starts, but ever since the calendar turned to February he has really found his game.
Kim tied for second at the WM Phoenix Open and tied for 13th at both the Genesis and in Mexico. After that, he tied for sixth at the Cognizant Classic.

A high school track and field meet in Virginia turned violent when one runner physically assaulted her opponent with a baton during a relay race.
Brookville High School’s Kaelen Tucker was the second leg runner for the 4×200 meter relay at the VHSL Class 3 State Indoor Championships at Liberty University on Friday. The junior was attempting to cut into the inside lane during a tight battle for second place as she was rounding turn four.
That’s when another runner from IC Norcom High School wound up and smacked Tucker in the back of the head with the baton.
