Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark entered Sunday afternoon’s matchup against the Minnesota Lynx on the best run of her young career. 
Entering the contest, Clark had five-straight double-doubles, including back-to-back games with 20+ points and 13 assists. The game prior to that run, she became the first rookie in WNBA history to post a triple-double. 
But nothing was easy to come by for Clark on Sunday against the Lynx. Minnesota made a concerted effort to stop Clark and it was mostly successful.

Adam Scott came up a tad short of Robert MacIntyre at the Genesis Scottish Open but had nothing but positive reflections afterward.
Adam Scott held a two-shot lead with four holes to play but did not come out on top, despite not making any glaring mistakes down the stretch.
Instead, he saw Robert MacIntyre race him by as the Scotsman scuttled past the Aussie with an eagle-par-birdie finish to take home the Genesis Scottish Open title by one.

The story for England in the 2024 Euro Championship was their insane ability to score late goals to either tie or win matches. Well, Spain turned the tables on England in the championship game. 
In the Round of 16, England trailed 1-0 against Slovakia well into stoppage time in the second half. That’s when Jude Bellingham struck for the English to tie the match and send it to extra time. 
They would win on a Harry Kane goal in the first minute of extra time. 
Then, against Switzerland in the quarterfinals, the English once again trailed late in the second half.
