Shortly after the groundbreaking ban, brother Coban Porter received six years in prison for a fatal drunk-driving incident.
Fast-forward several weeks, and now, 20-year-old Jevon Porter — MPJ’s younger brother and former Pepperdine basketball standout — deals with his arrest in Boone County (Mo.) after Missouri State Highway Patrol members stopped Jevon for speeding.

Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey stole the show Tuesday night, scoring seven points in the final 25 seconds to force overtime and eventually defeat the New York Knicks in Game 5 of their first-round playoff series at Madison Square Garden.
But on Wednesday, the NBA revealed in its Last Two Minute Report that one of Maxey’s game-changing plays in the final minute shouldn’t have counted. He traveled before launching a three-pointer from 25 feet with 25 seconds remaining.

PSG was held scoreless during the first leg of its UEFA Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday, as the team failed to put one past Gregor Kobel during what was a 1–0 defeat.
During the 52nd minute, the Parisian side was left in despair after a series of excellent looks on goal from Kylian Mbappé and Achraf Hakimi ricocheted off either post.
Mbappé opened things up with a beautiful shot that got past the extended reach of Kobel but deflected off the far post.

Baseball fans were blessed with a brawl Tuesday night, which led to a handful of suspensions being handed down on Wednesday. Players on the Tampa Bay Rays and Milwaukee Brewers, including a manager, received suspensions over an eighth-inning, benches-clearing spat featuring punches! 
Tensions began rising in the sixth inning when Milwaukee pitcher Freddy Peralta plunked Tampa’s Jose Siri, facing a 3-0 count. 
Two innings later, Brewers reliever Abner Uribe got testy with Siri. The players started jawing at each other after Uribe traipsed to first as Siri grounded out.

Pro-Hamas protesters are making all kinds of goofy demands — like saying they demand to be given food and water because they’re on the campus meal plan, nevermind that they unlawfully took over a building — and now they want the Israeli athletes to be banned from the upcoming Summer Olympics in Paris.
According to the Associated Press, some 300 protesters gathered outside of the Paris Organizing Committee in the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis to demand that they “limit” Israel’s participation in the Games.
