The Athletic‘s Andrew Marchand reported the Worldwide Leader was to ink the former Philadelphia Eagles center to a deal that would add him to the Monday Night Countdown desk, the network’s pregame show for Monday Night Football. On Wednesday, Kelce responded.
Sitting virtually across from his brother Travis on their latest episode of New Heights, Kelce made sure to say right off the bat that these reports are not yet set in stone. He has not put any pen to paper.

This week’s PGA Tour event is sure to provide plenty of fireworks as the low-scoring CJ Cup Byron Nelson tournament gets underway Thursday at the TPC Craig Ranch, arguably the easiest course on tour each year. 
The field is light on superstars—Jordan Spieth is the biggest name and has the lowest odds to win—but rife with opportunity to win some money as everyone has +1400 odds or higher.

The Kansas City Chiefs signed tight end Travis Kelce to a two-year, $34.25 million extension on Monday, making him the highest paid tight end in regards to average annual salary.
Kelce spoke about the extension on this week’s episode of the New Heights podcast that he hosts with his brother, retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.
While the Chiefs star expressed his gratitude to the team for making this deal, he also acknowledged how significant this contract is to the future of tight ends’ deals. He hopes to see other players earn lucrative deals like him.

Tyrese Maxey was the NBA Draft steal that wasn’t so surprising.
Deuce McBride flashed to the middle of the lane and caught a pass from Jalen Brunson as the New York Knicks’ star was getting trapped on the perimeter. McBride calmly stepped into a free throw line jumper and swished it, giving the Knicks a six-point lead on the Philadelphia 76ers with 29 seconds left. Down 3-1 in the series, Philadelphia needed a miracle to avoid elimination in the final seconds of Game 5.
Somehow, Tyrese Maxey delivered it.
