Geoffrey Esper is Nathan’s Hot Dog contest’s new star without Joey Chestnut
The news that Joey Chestnut was out of the 2024 Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest rocked the world of competitive eating. Chestnut, who has claimed victory at the eight previous Nathan’s contests, still holds the record with 76 hot dogs eaten at the event and won the contest in 2020 by a whopping 33-hot dog margin.
But due to his partnership with Impossible Foods, Chestnut is out this year.

Charley Hull has pulled out of the Aramco Team Series in London after sustaining an injury mid-round.
Charley Hull, one of the biggest stars of the LPGA Tour, had to withdraw from the Aramco Team Series in London on Wednesday morning.
Hull played only six holes in the Ladies European Tour event and then pulled out of the tournament due to an injury. The Englishwoman consulted with a physiotherapist, who recommended that she stop playing.
