Let’s look at the PGA Tour’s Top 30 players who made it into the FedEx Cup’s last playoff event, the Tour Championship.
The PGA Tour’s season-long race comes down to this week at East Lake Golf Club, where the FedEx Cup finale, the Tour Championship, will be held.
Last week saw No. 50 Keegan Bradley go from the bottom to the top as he won the BMW Championship to secure his spot inside the Top 30.
It is the final playoff event of the season, and there is so much money on the line.

Georgia Tech ran that damn ball on Saturday, and it led to the first big win of 2024.
“RUN THE BALL.”
That was of the first phrase out of Georgia Tech head coach Brent Key’s mouth after the Yellow Jackets secured a monumental upset victory over No. 10 Florida State in Dublin, Ireland. The 24-21 victory was their first win over an AP top-10 team since 2015, which also happened to be against Florida State. It’s not often that you see FSU get pushed around, but the Georgia Tech offense did exactly that.

Shohei Ohtani made history already this season.
But he is now on track to make even more history before the year is over.
Ohtani joined the exclusive 40-40 club on August 23rd, doing so in dramatic fashion. The Los Angeles Dodgers superstar stepped into the batter’s box in the bottom of the ninth inning with the game against the Tampa Bay Rays tied at 3-3, and the bases loaded.

With Washington’s NFL franchise entering its second year under a new ownership group after finally cutting ties with former owner Dan Snyder, the team is doing everything in its power to keep the past in the past. Anyone holding out hope that the franchise would return to its Redskins nickname will have to wait a while, perhaps forever.
The franchise got rid of the Redskins nickname following the 2019 NFL season and played the following two campaigns as the Washington Football Team and now enter year three as the Commanders.

Recapping the winners and losers from the Dutch Grand Prix
The detractors did not go away in May.
After Lando Norris broke through with his maiden Formula 1 victory in the Miami Grand Prix, shedding the harsh “Lando No-wins” moniker, the detractors still had their lines of criticism. They pointed to an opportune safety car, which gave Norris an advantage over Max Verstappen on that sweltering Miami Sunday. While the praise poured in around the paddock, skeptics remained.
