Tua Tagovailoa woke up Monday and chose to stuff former head coach Brian Flores into a locker. Frankly, it was a long time coming, and music to my ears.
Flores famously hated Tua during his time with the Miami Dolphins. He’s never outright said it, but it was obvious. He benched him in the middle of games like a billion times for Ryan Fitzpatrick, reportedly got into a shouting match with Tua after a late loss to Tennessee in 2021, and was ultimately fired by Miami following that season.
Tua, of course, was a completely different quarterback under Flores.
American Noah Lyles loves two things: winning races and picking fights with NBA players. His latest attack on the world’s best basketball league came at the expense of three-time MVP Nikola Jokić of the Denver Nuggets.
Lyles captured a gold medal at the Olympics in the 100M sprint, the first Olympic gold of his career.
He failed, though, in his attempt to win the “double” by also capturing gold in the 200M sprint. Afterward, Lyles said that he had COVID and wasn’t feeling well when he ran.
He still managed to win a bronze medal in the 200M, however.

The Top 50 PGA Tour players from Memphis advanced to the BMW Championship, so let’s look at who was eliminated.
The PGA Tour’s playoffs began last week at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, where the top 70 competed for a massive check and FedEx Cup points.
Now, the field is down to the top 50 players for the BMW Championship. Those same top 50 players also qualified for all eight Signature Events in 2025.
Twenty PGA Tour players ended their season on Sunday, including many fan-favorites.
Jordan Spieth is one of those 20 guys to head home.

As an undrafted free agent rookie in the NFL, you have to go above and beyond if you have any hopes of making a roster. Opportunities will be limited, so when you get a chance to make an impression on your coaches, you need to do everything possible to stand out.
That brings us to New York Giants rookie defensive tackle Elijah Chatman.

There’s no time for optimism in the NBA quite like mid-August, a beautiful stretch when every team is undefeated, most teams are healthy, each rookie is poised to be a steal, and every free agent signing is still conceivably a masterstroke.
Some teams have more reason to be hopeful than others. There’s already a group of teams that seem poised to fall behind their rivals next season.
