Vandersloot — a five-time WNBA All-Star and two-time WNBA champion — is fresh off of a championship with the New York Liberty in which she was a key contributor off the bench.
We’ve begun that two-week period of thumb-twiddling until the Super Bowl happens, which means there’s no better time to overanalyze every morsel of information that comes out in the lead-up to the game.
So, let’s do that with uniform colors.

The Eagles are the “home” team for this year’s Super Bowl (it simply alternates every year between the NFC team and the AFC team), and as such, they get to choose which uniform they want to wear.

On Wednesday, Stewart was playing against the Indiana Pacers and was ejected after throwing a forearm at the team’s opposing center, Thomas Bryant. The foul was ruled a flagrant 2, ending Stewart’s night in just the second quarter.
At 23, Stew may be the most formidable player in today’s league purely based on his volatility.

It’s tough for the Yankees when the big, bad Dodgers are outspending them.
The Kansas City Chiefs are once again back in the Super Bowl, and for many fans, it’s a sign that the National Football League wants them to be there.
Given the Chiefs’ first two playoff games thus far, it’s hard to argue. They benefited from two controversial penalties on Patrick Mahomes against the Houston Texans, then benefited from a bewildering review process on a contested catch and a brutal missed first down call against the Buffalo Bills.
