If you’re a Detroit Red Wings fan, you have an opportunity to buy the piece of memorabilia to end all pieces of memorabilia related to your team.
It’s just going to cost you somewhere in the neighborhood of $30,000, but that seems like a deal for what seems like a priceless item — no, artifact: and the original Al the Octopus that used to hang in Joe Louis Arena.
And while you might think some stuffy auction house is handling this sale, that’s not the case.
It’s up on Facebook Marketplace, but it may not stay there.

Skip Bayless left ESPN for FS1 in 2016 as the latter revamped its daily lineup in an effort to challenge ESPN for sports debate supremacy.
FS1 was never going to dethrone ESPN, which benefits from a 40-year head-start and the airing of premiere live sporting events in the evening. Still, Bayless helped put FS1 on the map by leading “Undisputed” to around 170,000 viewers at its peak in 2021.
But “Undisputed” has since struggled to maintain viewers. Over the past year, the show dipped to averages of around 40,000 viewers.

These are the teams that make the most sense for Brandon Aiyuk.
Speculation on Brandon Aiyuk’s future has been simmering for months now with the All-Pro receiver and the San Francisco 49ers being unable to reach an agreement on a new contract. Now the situation has escalated with Aiyuk formally requesting a trade from San Francisco, upping the stakes ahead of training camp.
Source: #49ers All-Pro WR Brandon Aiyuk has officially requested a trade after an offseason of unsuccessful attempts to reach an extension.
The on-again, off-again relationship between receiver Brandon Aiyuk and the San Francisco 49ers has hit another snag as the wide receiver wants to be traded.
Aiyuk’s representation officially asked the team for a trade in recent days, OutKick has confirmed. NFL Media was first to report the request.
This comes after months of rumors that the receiver, unhappy with his contract extension talks with the club, wanted to go elsewhere. The Aiyuk camp previously denied a trade request had been made.
That was in April. Here we are in July and the story has changed.
