This is a franchise two weeks removed from firing its head coach and just days removed from acquiring a quote-unquote difference maker in wide receiver Davante Adams.

The Hoosiers are one of the biggest stories in college football after jumping out to a blazing hot 7-0 start. The Hoosiers somehow went from being an afterthought in the Big Ten to being one of the best teams in America in Curt Cignetti’s first year with the program.
In case there were any doubts about whether Indiana was legit, they should have been erased Saturday after the Hoosiers dominated Nebraska to the tune of 56-7.

LeBron James has come to the defense of Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson while calling out Cleveland fans after the quarterback suffered what appears to be a season-ending injury on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Watson left Sunday’s contest on a cart after suffering an Achilles injury. Within seconds of Watson hitting the turf, some fans at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland could be heard cheering.

Heading into Week 8, the Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions are atop their conferences.
We entered Week 7 with two undefeated teams in the NFL and both were playing in marquee games on Sunday. The 5-0 Minnesota Vikings were playing their division rivals, the one-loss Detroit Lions, and the Kansas City has a Super Bowl rematch with the San Francisco 49ers. Only one finished the week still undefeated.
The Chiefs stayed atop the AFC standings while the Lions jumped the Vikings into first place in the NFC.
