Hailey Van Lith scored a game-high 6 points to power the U.S. women’s 3×3 basketball team to a 16-13 win over Canada in the Olympics’ bronze medal game.
The U.S. women’s 3×3 basketball team took home the bronze medal after a 16-13 win over Canada, in large part thanks to a massive 6-point, 2-assist performance by Hailey Van Lith, USA’s leading scorer throughout the Olympics.
That came after an 18-16 loss to Spain earlier in the day that cost them a chance at a gold medal.

Entering the final week of competition in the Paris Summer Olympics, the NFL decided it was time to start the hype for the 2028 Games in Los Angeles. For the first time ever, flag football will be an Olympic sport. So the NFL dropped a promotional video on Monday — starring global flag football ambassador, Jalen Hurts.
In the clip posted to social media, the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback throws a flaming football to light up the Olympic torch atop the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
“It’s our turn,” Hurts says.
