NFL players aren’t going to get away with throwing punches on the field, and the Rams WR found out the hard way.
Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua was ejected from Sunday afternoon’s contest against the Seahawks for throwing a punch late in the second quarter.
Even though it wasn’t the most aggressive punch we’ve ever seen on a football field, it still warranted ejection for the Rams’ second-year star.

Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown came out with the team after halftime, but went back to the locker room before the offense went on the field.
Third quarter update: The Eagles announced that A.J. Brown is dealing with a knee injury and is questionable to return to the game.
The Philadelphia Eagles are beating the Jacksonville Jaguars with relative ease in Week 9, but they appear to be shorthanded in the second half. Wide receiver A.J. Brown has suffered an injury and went back to the locker room at the start of the third quarter.
Here’s a sentence I’m not sure that I ever expected to type: the Arizona Cardinals had to close the State Farm Stadium roof after hail started raining down during the second quarter against the Chicago Bears.
When you hear that hail was a problem in a game between the Bears and Cardinals, surely the first thought is that the match must be in Chicago. But, no, it happened in Arizona on Sunday afternoon.
The situation was strange for a few reasons. First, there’s the obvious of hail coming down in Arizona in early November.
The Lions have lost their free safety after an illegal hit. On the same play, James Houston twisted Jordan Love’s ankle late at the end of the play.
One of the more critical games on the NFL’s Week 9 slate is a pivotal game between NFC North rivals the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions. With Jared Goff and company leading the division, the Packers are hoping that with Jordan Love in the lineup, and a packed house at Lambeau Field behind them, they can get the win at home to gain an advantage in the division.

He slammed the tablet he’d been intently studying to the turf, and in the same frustrated motion, knocked his headset off his head while spittle came spewing out of his mouth as he said something probably not suited for publication.

The Cowboys lost again on Sunday.
They traveled to Atlanta for the privilege of losing to the Falcons, 27-21. But don’t be deceived.

The Roanoke College women’s swimming team joined Donald Trump on stage during his rally in Salem, Va., on Saturday. Last year, these same women spoke out against a trans-identifying male who attempted to join their team.
The athletes took the stage wearing pink T-shirt that said: “Keep (hot dogs) out of women’s sports.”
Trump explained to the crowd that a member of the men’s team at Roanoke tried to join the women’s team last fall. But the women spoke out against competing and sharing their locker room with a man.
