This list could probably start and end with Barry Sanders that Thanksgiving Day in 1997. Watching him weave in and out, fly down the field, bounce off defenders with no concern for Detroit’s merely solid blocking was like watching DaVinci paint the Mona Lisa. With replays, of course.
Sanders gained 167 rushing yards that day. He scored three touchdowns, including two when his team’s big lead was cut to only seven points. The Lions eventually won, 55-20.
And Sanders that season rushed for an NFL-leading 2,053 yards. Sanders averaged 6.

This could be THE game of Thanksgiving.
The first Thanksgiving game is a pretty fun one, with the rivalry between the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions adding another chapter. This is a good one to start the day off with, especially as the food is still getting cooked. A nice way to start the day with some football and chatting with family. What I would be on the lookout for is the Bears’ offense against this Lions’ defense that’s playing at a really high level.

We have MADE it, boys and girls. One of the best days of the year. Drinking from sun-up to sundown. Football from noon to midnight. Stuffing our fat, American faces with so many seed oils RFK would faint. 
It’s the best. I love Thanksgiving. An underrated holiday that has been completely taken over by Christmas nerds. Yuck. This day deserves respect, and that’s what I intend to give it for the next few minutes. 
Speaking of respect … it could very well go out the window in a few hours, depending on your situation.

Mercedes reserve driver Mick Schumacher is leaving the team at the end of the season
Mick Schumacher is leaving the Mercedes Formula 1 team to “pursue new opportunities,” according to an announcement released by the team ahead of the Qatar Grand Prix.
Schumacher spent two years in that role, after being released by Haas after spending two years as a full-time driver for the team. Schumacher added another role to his driving resume this season, competing for Alpine in the World Endurance Championship.
