Anna Nordqvist of Sweden has accepted an invitation to lead the European Solheim Cup in 2026.
Anna Nordqvist will captain the European Solheim Cup team in the Netherlands next year, and hopes to avenge the loss her side took at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club this past fall.
The U.S. won 15.5 to 12.5, winning the competition for the first time since 2017. That week, Nordqvist served as a playing vice-captain and posted a 2-2 record. With 18.

Denver Broncos linebackers coach Michael Wilhoite was arrested in Denver on Sunday on a charge of second-degree assault on a police officer.
The 38-year-old was booked into the Downtown Detention Center in Denver and was set for a court appearance on Monday morning, according to DNVR Sports’ Zac Stevens.
“We are aware of a situation involving Michael Wilhoite that occurred Sunday and are in the process of gathering more information,” the Broncos said in a statement.
