The Eagles’ Super Bowl bonuses, and more, explained.
It pays to be a Philadelphia Eagles player today. Not only did the team of head coach Nick Sirianni celebrate a dominant victory over the Kansas City Chiefs to claim Super Bowl LIX, the players also earned themselves a nice payday along the way — a payday that is taking multiple shapes.
Let’s therefore take a look at three ways the Eagles made themselves quite a bit of money thanks to their 40-22 win on Sunday night.

Chiefs receiver DeAndre Hopkins was not happy about the way the Super Bowl was called.
The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs were not the only teams in the spotlight entering Super Bowl LIX. Following a postseason filled with accusations of favoritism for the two-time defending champion Chiefs, the officiating crew was as well.
But while the group around referee Ron Torbert did get off to a suspicious-looking start — it effectively ended the Eagles’ first possession via an offensive pass interference call against wide receiver A.J.
Aside from a miserable stretch that started late in the 2023 season and carried through September of this past season, the Eagles have been almost unbeatable.
