New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers just provided perhaps the most clear vision of how he’s weighing his NFL future and, frankly, there’s a lot of uncertainty that includes the possibility of retirement.
“I don’t even know if I want to play yet,” Rodgers said on his regularly scheduled weekly segment of the Pat McAfee Show on ESPN. 
Rodgers added “New York would be my first option” of playing if he returns for 2025, but there will be much to consider if that eventually happens.

The Auburn Tigers pulled off a massive upset this weekend, beating the No. 15 Texas A&M Aggies 43-41 in a four-overtime thriller to put a hit into the Aggies’ chances of earning an at-large bid for the College Football Playoff.

Rumors began swirling earlier in the week that NFL Hall of Famer Mike Ditka had landed in hospice, but his family has shared that is not the case for the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys legend.
Speculation hit such a point on Monday about Ditka’s health and his landing in hospice care that Jarrett Payton, the son of Walter Payton, addressed the rumors on X, formerly Twitter.
“I’ve seen reports claiming that Mike Ditka has entered hospice care. I can confirm these reports are not true,” Payton wrote on Monday morning.
