The second season of the Professional Women’s Hockey League recently got underway, and it’s bringing some changes to the league, one of which could cause the league’s Toronto franchise a bit of a headache.

The PWHL had a massively successful debut season drawing big crowds in Boston, Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, New York, and Minnesota thanks to the way it produced some great hockey featuring the biggest names in the women’s game like Hillary Knight and Marie-Philip Poulin.

Penny Hardaway has not led the Memphis basketball program to the point many envisioned he would when he took over the program in 2018. A single NCAA Tournament game win, missing out on the tournament entirely four times, and an NIT trophy in six seasons doesn’t exactly scream success. 
‘Okay’ is the one, albeit simple word one could use to describe Hardaway’s first six years at the helm, and ‘okay’ buys you a bit more time in charge when you are Memphis royalty such as Penny.

But what happens when it doesn’t even get built in the first place?
That’s what some baseball fans are wondering, as the Las Vegas ballpark that is supposed to host the Oakland Athletics at the start of the 2028 season has already skyrocketed in price by a quarter of a billion dollars. The estimated total cost right now stands at $1.75 billion.
… And they haven’t even started construction yet.

Heading into Tuesday night’s college football playoff rankings, there has certainly been a lot of expected politicking across the sport from different coaches trying to make a case for their team. Not a stranger to social media, Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin has tried a variety of ways to make a case for the Rebels, while taking aim at other teams from the SEC. 
This has led to a subtle war of words from Kiffin, Shane Beamer and Alabama’s Kalen DeBoer, as they each try to make their case for being in the playoff.

Houston Texans general manager Nick Caserio is fired up about the NFL’s three-game suspension of his linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair to the point he’s “embarrassed” by the league’s handling of the matter and calls the portrayal of his player “bulls–t.”
“We’re going to say Azeez Al-Shaair, nobody embodies our program more than Azeez,” Caserio told reporters on Tuesday. “What he’s about, what he’s been through, you all know his story.
