Aaron Rodgers was cooking to being the New York Jets’ matchup with the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13. It took a historic play by Seahawks defensive lineman Leonard Williams to get Seattle back in the game.
Rodgers had New York on the doorstep of another trip to the end zone midway through the second quarter. On 3rd-and-8 from Seattle’s 10-yard line, Rodgers’ pass was tipped and intercepted by Williams as he dropped into coverage.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was carted off the field after taking a vicious shot from Houston Texans defender Azeez Al-Shaair, who was flagged and ejected from the game.
With Houston leading 6-0 late in the second quarter, Lawrence took off on a quarterback run and began sliding right around the first-down marker. In the bang-bang play, just as Lawrence hit the ground on his slide, Al-Shaair used his arm to hit the quarterback in the head and neck area.

When you think of NFL defensive tackles, what’s the first physical attribute they have that comes to mind?
For me, I think of how they are able to generate so much power with their upper bodies, or how they can sometimes bring down a running back at full speed with just one of their gargantuan arms. But rarely do I ever think of speed because, well, moving 325-pounds of humanity is not something often done quickly.
However, Seattle Seahawks nose tackle Leonard Williams proved me wrong Sunday in a game against the New York Jets.
