Shortly after Lando Norris put his McLaren into pole position for Sunday’s Dutch Grand Prix, the questions began. Saturday’s qualifying effort in Zandvoort marked the third time this Formula 1 season that Norris qualified up front for a Grand Prix, but on both previous occasions, Norris failed to lead the opening lap.

A high school football player in Alabama died Saturday after suffering a brain injury in his team’s home opener Friday night.
Morgan Academy junior quarterback Caden Tellier received a blow to the head during the third quarter of his team’s 30-22 win against Southern Academy in Selma, Alabama. He was airlifted by helicopter to University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital.
Morgan Academy headmaster Bryan Oliver told Fox News Digital Tellier died from his injuries Saturday evening.

If you’re ever stuck in an elevator, Justin Herbert is a good person to have with you. At least, according to Jim Harbaugh.
On Friday night, Dallas Fire-Rescue crews rescued 15 people in the Los Angeles Chargers traveling party — both players and personnel — who were trapped in an elevator at The Westin hotel. The elevator was stuck in a “blind shaft” somewhere between the third and 15th floors, so emergency crews had to pull everyone to safety, one-by-one, through a ceiling panel.
And now we know that QB1 was among those trapped.
