Hitting panic in preseason is a fool’s errand, but if anyone deserves button-mashing it’s the Pittsburgh Steelers. A loss to the Texans on Saturday took the Steelers’ preseason record to 0-2, but far more importantly it was the second straight week the team’s starters failed to score a single offensive touchdown.

Polish rider Katarzyna Niewiadoma wins the third edition of the women’s Tour de France in dramatic fashion.
Sprinting the final meters up the legendary Alpe d’Huez climb in the French Alps, Katarzyna Niewiadoma knew she had to put it all on the line. Having entered the final stage of the 2024 Tour de France Femmes with a 1:15 gap over reigning champion Demi Vollering, the Polish rider was as close to defeat as she was victory.
In the end, she secured the prestigious yellow jersey in nail-biting fashion.

A four-game WNBA slate featured standout performances from the Fever guard trio of Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, and Lexie Hull, as well as all-time scorers Tina Charles and Diana Taurasi. Angel Reese also put together one of her most impressive double-doubles in the highest rebounding game of her rookie season.
