Team USA has steamrolled the competition so far in the World Baseball Classic.
Kyle Schwarber hit a two-run homer and Gunnar Henderson had four hits and two RBIs in a 9-1 victory over Britain on Saturday night. 
The U.S. improved to 2-0 in Pool B at Houston. Britain fell to 0-2.
Nate Eaton homered on Tarik Skubal’s first pitch to give Britain a quick lead it held until the fifth inning, but his teammates couldn’t muster anything else at the plate.
U.S. hitters had managed just one single when Ernie Clement reached on an error by third baseman Ivan Johnson to start the fifth.

The LA Galaxy’s trip to the Rocky Mountain State ended in a second-half collapse, as the Colorado Rapids scored three unanswered goals to hand the visitors a 4-1 loss Saturday night at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park.
Playing with a frontline featuring Gabriel Pec, Joseph Paintsil, and João Klauss, the Galaxy controlled possession for stretches but ultimately unraveled after an injury to Paintsil and a red card to Pec early in the second half.

OKLAHOMA CITY — Lowering his shoulders, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander eyed Draymond Green one-on-one. In a matchup between the reigning MVP and former DPOY winner, OKC’s superstar went with his signature stepback 3-pointer to hit the dagger.
The Oklahoma City Thunder avoided an upset in their 104-97 win over the Golden State Warriors. Not the prettiest journey to get there, but you never apologize for a victory.
Considering the talent gap, the Thunder had this in the bag. On paper, at least.

The UFC handed out four bonuses after Saturday’s card in “Sin City” – one to each fighter with a finish. 
After UFC 326, four fighters picked up an extra $100,000 for their performances at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. By not awarding a Fight of the Night, the UFC avoided having to pay out extra checks for finishes that weren’t bonus-winners.

Russell and Leclerc staged a close fight for the first 10 laps with frequent lead changes before Ferrari’s decision to stay out during a virtual safety car period took them out of contention for the win.

Chelsea player calls Wrexham result an “incredible win” after extra time struggles
Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho has referred to Chelsea’s result against Wrexham as an “incredible win” last night.
It comes after The Blues being taken to extra time by the Championship side, who twice took the lead against Liam Rosenior’s side. Wrexham also had to play all of extra time and a chunk of the second half with ten men after a sending off.
