Detroit Pistons guard Chaz Lanier caught fire from deep in Monday’s Summer League game against the New York Knicks.
The second-year player out of Tennessee made eight 3-pointers in the 86-75 loss to the Knicks. Lanier led all players with 24 points, all from deep.

Detroit selected the guard with the 37th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. As a rookie last season, he played in 34 games in a depth role.
