Australian Lucas Herbert got off to a hot start at the Fortinet Championship, the first event of the PGA Tour Fall.
The Fortinet Championship in Napa, California, kicked off the PGA Tour Fall on Thursday. This seven-event series provides more opportunities for players not in the Top 50 of the FedEx Cup standings.
Following this stretch, the top 125 players in the standings become eligible for full-field tour events in 2024.

Giving away TV antennas might appear to be a strange venture in the year 2023. But the Suns are doing it to help fans watch their games on local television.
In April, the Suns and Mercury announced that they were leaving Bally Sports Arizona and moving their game broadcasts from cable to local, over-the-air TV stations owned by Gray Television. No cable, satellite, or streaming service is needed.
But a TV antenna is necessary to receive those over-the-air broadcasts on local channels 3TV and CBS5.

The Denver Broncos suffered a massive blow to their defense. Veteran linebacker Frank Clark injured his hip during practice this week, and the issue will sidelining Clark for a while.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport noted that while not deemed “serious,” the injury will keep the three-time Pro Bowler and two-time Super Bowl champ out for “a couple weeks.”
For a team like the Washington Commanders, who face the Broncos this weekend, Clark’s absence is excellent news.
